Ayurveda, the science of life is the offshoot or an accessory of the Atharva Veda, which deals with the curative aspect of the Veda. Thousands of years ago, India's greatest sages established the Ayurveda, the main goal of which was the alleviation of human suffering by maintaining good health.
The goal of Ayurveda is to develop an individual's own immune system to such a degree that the body becomes its own best medicine, fighting off infection before disease could take serious hold.
Mankind is tired of pollutions, free radicals & other stress factors. Ayurveda offers a holistic antidote to the problems of modern society. Its success is widely recognized in both the east and west by medical practitioners. Ayurveda incorporates the use of natural substances such as herbs, roots, leaves, stems, flowers, fruits etc. in various forms. The combination of these ingredients is used not only for curative purpose but also for the prevention of diseases and the maintenance of optimum health and rejuvenation.
Thus Ayurveda is much more than a medical system. It is a universal art of healing, which has survived even after some of the strongest social revolutions and cultural changes. Leading protagonists of western medicine acknowledge the effective curing capacity of Ayurveda, which in addition doesn't have any harmful side effects.
